NOURNEWS/NORTH CAROLINA - A government has to be absolutely daft or desperate or both to consider a nuclear bomb test. Such has been suspended for almost 30 years, and now the Trump gangsters are threatening another.
Are they going to blow up Bikini Atoll again, or do it underground say in Nevada? Consider the thinking in the White House or the Pentagon behind even the threat: that such is going to make countries like China or Russia cower and cave to whatever demands the U.S. makes to keep the dying “empire” alive for a while longer?
Or imagine that the U.S. can prevail with a ramped arms race when the country’s monetary system and acceptance of the dollar may be on its last legs and the country is virtually insolvent and dependent on the Federal Reserve Bank to print yet more trillions in fiat money to stave off the economic Depression or at least a deep recession across the world? This is not “thinking” at all, but rather a stubborn insanity to isolate the U.S. even further as a rogue, selfish state. It stinks of hubris and arrogance at a time when, if ever there was one, the U.S. ought to be coming to the aid of others, or trying to, as China and Russia and many others like Iran and Cuba certainly are attempting. They know you don’t win praise or pals any other way ultimately.
If anything, Iran, hobbled economically by U.S. sanctions and military threats and Covid 19 is demonstrating as much sheer courage as any country ever has since the Vietnamese decades ago, knowing full well that the U.S. could and may start another war in the Mideast given the delivery underway of fuel for starved and U.S. sanctioned Venezuela by four Iranian oil tankers.
Do the gangsters in the White House and Pentagon also think the Venezuelan people are going to going to throw out Maduro and accept that lightweight tool Guaido because of U.S. threats? The Maduro government may have its problems, in part because of sanctions, but the people of Venezuela are NOT going to consider embracing any U.S. puppet or any other potential, alternative leaders until it might do so someday without subjection to threat and duress and with full independent democracy. This is common sense. And consider that there are still U.S. efforts to support the Mujahideen-e-Khalq (MEK) which was taken off the U.S. list of terrorist organizations almost a decade ago. The Iranian people are not ever likely to support this cultish band of misfits touting some of the most bizarre ideas ever conceived. Can anyone honestly argue that Miriam Rejavi is not best suited, at the outer limit, to be a crone cashier at a McDonald’s restaurant in New Jersey?
In fact, the U.S. is doing almost nothing but shoring up opposition with its oppositions to every country it wants to subvert and dominate either directly or through proxies. One would easily think that the U.S. does not really want to do anything constructive but create more war and carnage, because it is certainly not going to find friends or accord overseas.
This is exactly what largely what ails the U.S.: A Military-Industrial Complex which, despite the warnings voiced by President Eisenhower in 1960, has apparently gained control of the U.S. and in many respects made the U.S. economy and craven, perk-driven politicians in Washington dependent on feeding companies like Boeing and Raytheon and Lockheed with weapon contracts, not to mention myriad smaller “contractors” gorging at the trough of American militancy. And meanwhile the U.S. has not repaired its healthcare system or maintained or improved its infrastructure because some $7 trillion dollars has virtually bankrupted the monetary system by diversion this century to the military. The New York Times on Sunday devoted its entire front page and more to listing the 100,000 or so people who have died so far of Covid 19.
Yes, the Times is no fan of Trump, but the alternative so far, mentally challenged Joe Biden, may be worse. Yet for this newspaper, its primary concern is continued support of Apartheid “Israel”, and Biden on this matter is no different than Trump. Someone recently suggested that if a debate between the two occurs, Trump could win easily if he threw a pillow on the stage floor and said it was time for “Sleepy Joe” to take his daily nap.
