Iran Interior Minister's First Reaction to US Sanctions

Emphasizing that the United States has failed to create instability, insecurity and civil war in Iran, he noted that: "During the riots in November of last year, the American media, in inciting the riots and helping them, did everything in their power but did not achieve the desired result."

NOURNEWS-Abdul Reza Rahmani Fazli said in a telephone conversation with the Turkish counterpart: "The main root of the recent announcement of US sanctions is the failure of their plan to intervene in Iran."

Emphasizing that the United States has failed to create instability, insecurity and civil war in Iran, he noted that: "During the riots in November of last year, the American media, in inciting the riots and helping them, did everything in their power but did not achieve the desired result."

Rahmani Fazli continued: " Most of our people were sanctioned by the US, even in these difficult conditions caused by the coronavirus outbreak, the NAJA commanders and I are part of the people who were sanctioned."

In conclusion, the interior minister stated that the recent actions of the US government have internal consumption and are related to the US elections and will definitely not have any consequences for its actions.
