NOURNEWS- After Iran took a step towards helping Venezuela, which is under intense US pressure, William Gil, a member of the Venezuelan National Assembly, called for the installation of our country's flag and the statue of Martyr Gen. Soleimani in various parts of Venezuela to honor the Iranian people.
"When Iranian ships arrive, we propose to install the Iranian flag and the statue of Martyr Gen. Soleimani everywhere in honor of the Iranian people for their solidarity with Venezuela," he tweeted on Friday.
His Twitter message was welcomed by Venezuelan citizens and received a lot of Positive feedback on social media.
Meanwhile, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro thanked Iran for its support in a televised message, saying: "We are ready to cooperate with Iran at any time."
